The Four Steps To Lock In Interest Rates

Complete the Application.
The Fannie Mae 1003 application is required. You can obtain one by fax or download and print it off of this website. Fill it out completely and fax it back at (720) 529-1169. If you prefer, this can be done over the phone with an Alpha Mortgage representative in about 10 minutes.
Provide All Appropriate Documents from Our Loan Application Checklist.
These include tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, etc. Click here to view the full checklist. You may fax or mail these items.
Send a Check for at Least $358.00.
This may be mailed to us as long as you mail it no later than the day you lock your interest rate. It covers the cost of our appraisal and credit report. Please consult your Alpha Mortgage representative for the exact amount and for details on any additional rate lock fee(s) that may be required.
A Written Request To Lock In the Interest Rate.
A verbal confirmation alone is not enough to lock a rate. Please contact your Alpha Mortgage representative for details on providing a simple written request to lock in the rate. This can be faxed to (720) 529-1169. Upon receipt of this request in writing, Alpha Mortgage will lock your interest rate and fax you back your confirmation the same day.

Never assume your rate is locked until you have received verbal AND written confirmations from Alpha Mortgage.
